 Beaver Rim Agate.
Beaver Rim Agate. May 5th was a great day for collecting in Wyoming according Eddy Cole. He went to an area that he had found on a ranchers land near Beaver Rim. He got permission to take all the rocks he wanted so more grass would grow. He said he walked in about a mile and came across a drainage that ran into the hills ahead. Walking there he found a great amount of agate material. Some of it will iris and some has the water level lines. He filled his pack and made the trip back to his truck twice before the weather started to get bad. One of the items he came back with was this chunk of agate that forms in the mountain crevices. This is one sweet design pattern of water level and fortification lines. -WET pic.-(4"x2"/2.4 oz./5mm thick)

 Bloody Basin Agate
Bloody Basin Agate This is from the Arizona Agate mine in Bloody Basin. It got its name from a story about how a band of indians attacked a supply wagon down on the Hassayampa, killing everyone and stealing the supplies. They got a posse together and went looking for revenge. They came accross a group of about a hundred indians in the area now called Bloody Basin. Even though they weren't sure these were the marauders, they annihilated them anyway. Apparently the mine has stopped producing which makes this rough hard to get. -WET-(3"x2"/2.6 oz./8mm thick)
PRICE: $2.00
