The same type agate ranges throughout 3 states but a small area in Montana seems to have the best of all of it. Found in gravel deposits in the middle and lower Yellowstone valleys. Agates are found in both the present river and in gravel deposits. 10 to 15 miles on both sides of the Yellowstone drainage. Slab up this faced nodule for some sweet cabs or it stands nicely for a cool show piece. -WET pic.- (1 lb. 1 oz.)
