This Moss Agate was in it's heyday in the early 1970's and there wasn't much of it to be had. Collected near the Broadhead Lakes on the Boobe Hole Mt. in central Utah at over 10,000 feet in elevation. This material is all but gone! From what I hear, the digs are way too deep and dangerous to attempt anymore digging! The color of the moss is outstanding in this chunk. This rough is from the heyday of the Rock and Rolling tumblers and giant Polyhedroid pendants. -WET pic.-( 7.8 oz.) no fractures.. perfect cutter
