This rough is from Wyoming and was collected by Eddy Cole in 2007 in the mountain pass. You can see in the pictures how this agate that he has brought to market is different looking completely as he got further into the seam. Wow, he was right to bring some back from his last few goes at the mountain because it sold out fast. But then Eddy stopped his mining of agate sometime around 2010 and went on mining lepidolite for a private company overseas. Brings back great memories of my early days finding stock for the blairrock inventory. This is a showpiece with blue chalcedony bubbled over the top. But there's a lot of slabs for the cutter/caber. -WET pic.-(3 lbs. 10oz.) no fractures.....excellent cutter
