Did you get that.....Blackstone Valley. Very cool indeed. There are traces of Cumberlandite in the area's watershed but that's it. There is enough iron in it to make it a bit magnetic. It also has titanium and was used in the 18th and 19th century in making many different types of farm tools. During the Revolutionary War, colonist tried making a cannon from it, but it cracked and was useless. -WET pic. -(14.4 oz.) chunk
