Dragon's Flame Jasper`

 In 2012 Eddy Cole went looking for coprolite in Big Horn County, Wyoming and look what he found in the lower Cretaceous Cloverly Formation. (115 million years has been established near the bottom of the formation.)  A small amount was recovered and he says the prospects of finding more depends on nature and erosion to encounter more. It is some beautiful rough and I thank Eddy for his hard work back packing it out of the mountains and looking back here in 2021, I am so glad I grabbed what he had back then because he has been off the radar and mining only lepidolite for the Chinese market and knowing how hard mining is,  I doubt he has been back to the location where he found the Dragons Flame jasper. I think age catches up with all of us hounds. I moved 3 years ago and bringing my rock collection/inventory along with me was a real huge issue. I paid the house movers to pick up and move my rock garden also. Yes, it was all in alphabetical order too.(4 oz.)
