One of the first agates to start the rock frenzy came from the Bud-Kotra area of Morvi in the area around Khambat, Gujarat Province, India. Three obvious different exterior colors make the blackskin, whiteskin and yellowskin agates one of the all time favorites in the rock world. The most popular are those containing moss. Most of the moss agate, (called suabhaji), are usually found buried about 2 feet under the surface and must be dug up. When cut and finished they take an excellent polish with a #7 in hardness. -WET-pic.-(3"x 2"/2.4 0z./7mm thk) solid...good cutter
