Malachite

Egyptians had Malachite mines near the Suez and Sinai as early as 4000 B.C. Romans used the powder form for eye shadow and wore polished pieces around their necks.  And like the Greeks it was used in building adornment as well. It's still a choice of many fine jewelers with it's signature green color and orbs. -WET pic.-(13 oz.) no fractures
