The man I obtained this material from said while prospecting for Turtleback agate, he got extremely lucky and struck a vein of what the old timers used to call Peridot agate (not affiliated with the mineral peridot, it's named it for its coloration). He said he had not seen a seam or vein of this agate with enough body to cab in the last 35 years. He was only able to get a limited amount of the material before it vanished!
