Pilbara Jasper

This material was mined in Australia for one year and was introduced in 2009 and now they have no plans to mine any more. For some reason they say the land is not available to mine. What is left out there in peoples hands is all there is for now. This is very dense material that polishes superbly. All the brown color is surface stain leaving the black/white and sometimes  brown/red iron color with Picasso like patterns beneath like seen in the window chips. -WET pic.-(13 oz.) no fractures
