Wind Mountain Jasper~

This cool jasper was collected from the Wind Mountain trail head off Washington route 14 east of Carson and if you follow the trail uphill through the forest past old downed trees as you zig zag your way to the summit, you better watch your step or you could easily fall off a drop off and go for a good tumble down the side. The trip is worth the view from the top and by all means leave any Indian monuments alone. Before this was a fun trail to hike, it was a sacred place to many.  -WET pic.(5.4 oz.) end cut  there are fine self sealed stress fractures (seen in pictures).. -solid- with some "fault slip lines" that are pretty solid and hold together for an awesome finished look.
