Ashburton Agate~

Also known as Wyloo Agate, this material formed close to the Ashburton River on Wyloo Station which is not far from the iron ore mining town of Paraburdoo, Australia. As with many other rocks called agate, it's not.  Works up more the quartz group of onyx Beautiful finished items for sure.  -WET pic.-(3"x 2.5"/1.6 oz./5mm thk) no fractures.. some pitting
