Ashburton Agate`

Also known as Wyloo Agate, this material formed close to the Ashburton River on Wyloo Station which is not far from the iron ore mining town of Paraburdoo, Australia. As with many other rocks called agate, it's not.  More in the quartz group. Beautiful finished items for sure. -WET pic.-(1 lb. 3 oz.) no fractures.. some pitting
