This is one sweet conglomerate stone from Mississippi. Helene collects this rough and says this darker matrix type is hard to find in good solid pieces like this. Peanut Brickle Stone is what she calls it. And wow do the pebbles ever pop in the dark matrix. This is tight grained solid stuff that polishes very nicely. Makes our Canadian pudding stone number 2 in conglomerate stone ranking I'm afraid but I'm good with that! Hey Helene, hope you are good with the stone you love to collect being shared with other hounds all over the world. And I hope you won't mind if we share the fact that you are an incredible artist and people need to see your masterpieces in Sculpture. These are one of a kind amazing pieces that will blow you away. Check "em out at, <potterybyhelene.com> You will be amazed!!!...-WET pic.-(5.4 oz.) very solid piece
